Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Acceptable Use

User Content

Our Services may allow you to post, submit, publish, display, or transmit content such as comments, feedback, or other materials ("User Content"). By providing any User Content, you grant us and our affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content in any media.

User Content Restrictions

You agree that your User Content will not:

Contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable
Promote sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any person
Violate the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable laws
Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act
Cause annoyance, inconvenience, or needless anxiety or be likely to upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person
Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization
Involve commercial activities or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes, and other sales promotions, barter, or advertising

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Energy Literacy Portal, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:

Any resale or commercial use of our Services or their contents
Any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices
Any derivative use of our Services or their contents
Any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant
Any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools

Any use of our Services not expressly permitted by these Terms is a breach of these Terms and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Trademarks

The Energy Literacy Portal name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Energy Literacy Portal or its affiliates or licensors. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on our Services are the trademarks of their respective owners.

Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Energy Literacy Portal. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Energy Literacy Portal shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

ENERGY LITERACY PORTAL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

ENERGY LITERACY PORTAL MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT:

OUR SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS
OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF OUR SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE
THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH OUR SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS
ANY ERRORS IN OUR SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED

Limitation of Liability

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Energy Literacy Portal, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of our Services, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of our Services' content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from our Services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or our Services shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use our Services.
